First I would like to apologize for yesterday I tried to post this, and for some odd reason, the blog wasn't letting anyone comment anywhere. What's the fun of a blog post without comments?! :)
Thankfully my friend Feuza Reis , came to the rescue with her good friend Tony, and he helped me fix the technical issues! Thanks guys!
Now to the post....
This blog post is so exciting for me, first because it is something that is totally new to me. And I love to try new things! Second, I never thought I would enjoy a college class as much I am enjoying my Film Class at school.
So, remember years ago, when our digital cameras, memory sticks, and mega pixels, didn't exist? Yes, I know, that was a while ago, but remember how you had to take rolls of film to your local Walgreens to have them develop? Well, I use the same roll of film, except its B&W, but I have to do all the developing work. Stay in the darkroom for hours, with enlargers, being super careful not to open the door and let light in there, smelling chemicals, doing 6 minute washes in the Fixer, and 15 minute final washer. It may sound like a lot of work, and I am not going to lie, it is, but that is what makes it so worth it. Its Art! It takes time, passion, and patience!
Here is a sneak peek of some of the shots I have developed so far.
Loved it? I sure do!
Now here is part of my equipment! Taken with my digital camera now!
I want to thank my friend and also client, Thaina Rosa, for lending me her film camera for this semester. Thank you so much girl, you helped me a lot!
And since I am falling in love with it, I will have to buy one very soon! :)

Beautiful pictures! You are one great photographer/artist! I wish you the very best, and I'm so happy for you that you have such a HUGE passion for photography, especially when you have such patience to work with the dark room and different cameras and such. That's what makes you a really passionate worker. Congratulations. May everything go the way you want it to. Best of wishes.
Hey girl ! Totally awesome! As one artist to another, you are one TRUE artist! Never lose sight of the rainbow! Live the Dream!
